Luca co-founded Abraxas in 2002 and participated in launching its first fund in 2003. He is a director at HEKA Funds Sicav plc, responsible for Risk Management. Luca has held roles as Global Head of Risk Management at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein (DRKW). Earlier in his career, he was in Proprietary Credit Trading and Sovereign Bond Arbitrage at Bankers Trust in New York and London. Luca holds an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Business and a Degree in Economics from LUISS University in Rome. He is also the author of “The Dark Side of Risk Management” (2004).
